A beautiful fall day at Corbett’s Glen. I did a quick sketch on site in my sketchbook then came back and colored it in my style that I call watercolor collage. It is a technique that was first inspired by Eric Carle but that I have since developed into my own style. I use a computer instead of glue and scissors.

Corbett’s Glen is a little treasure of nature tucked between sub-developments and a two-lane highway. On a beautiful autumn morning it is a great place to sketch.
